Wordless Wednesday…Almost

I was waiting for hubby to get our car checked in at the mechanic when I spotted this beauty sitting at the edge of the parking lot under an oak tree.

Yes, she’s rusted. Yes, she’s old. Yes, she’s rad! I couldn’t help but snap a few shots to capture the rainbow of colors displayed through the rust and chipping paint. Of course, I couldn’t just let the images be. I had to fiddle with them on my iPhone’s app, Camera Bag.

The exterior shot of the car is tweaked with the Plastic option and the interior with Colorcross. Maybe I will post pics done in the other options when I have some time to dawdle.

Happy photographing!

Beautiful colors of a wonderful old car! The speedometer is marvelous! Wish they were still like that! This brought back memories. I might have owned a car just like that at one point.

I love old cars, Bill. Especially the ones that are abandoned. They sit there day after day in the sun, wind and rain, braving whatever nature tosses their way. Although some see no value in them, I do. They’re interesting to me and I wonder what their story is. Who sat in those seats, who drove it and where did it take them?
